I'll Fly Away

Remember the begining?

Finally hatched.
They remind me of little old men that are losing their hair on top.

They have filled out nicely.

I went out to snap a photo of them today and they flew away.
What a mess they left behind.

They didn't go far though.  I found this one right behind me.

Spring has Sprung

After a windy, cold, rainy, muddy, dreary, nasty, cloudy, chill you to the bone (you get the picture?) week.  The weather kind of settled down for the weekend.  It was about time.  It was in the 60's but still a tiny bit cloudy so I decided to venture out to the barn with my camera. When I got to the barn I spotted Superman.  Opening the side door to let the cows out.  We had a guy come over and scoop out all the poo poo from the barn so the cows had to be out of the way.

Aannnnnd, on my way back I found this sure sign of spring.  Of course it is not as exciting as watching the baby eagles hatch but none the less, I will be keeping an eye on them so watch for later post.

Findings

Today was a running day for Kelly.  Okay actually a driving day.  Today consisted of driving to various far away dairy farms and looking at heifers that the farmers may or may not want to sell.
It was a LOT of driving!  But I found two things today

#1  We were driving down the highway and I said "Hey, I just saw an eagle in a nest"  He said "You want me to turn around?  Cause I will."  I said "Okay"  So he turned around.  The nest was a far away.  He said "I would have never seen that"

Here is the shot I took.

Then when we finally got back home.  This is what I found on my deck.
